The roadside settlement on the west side of the Ebbsfleet Valley (ARC SHN02). Excavation revealed a section of Watling street itself, a branch road, roadside ditches relating to both roads, a roadside shrine and twelve roadside properties. (1)

Finds included a Nauheim derivate brooch, a Langton Down brooch, a Rosette (Thistle) brooch, Anglo-Saxon pottery and an assemblage of post-medieval coins. (3) (4)
