Excavations in advance of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in 2002-3 identified a number of Romano-British properties west of the Ebbsfleet, each with a variety of features. A series of fence lines were identified within property 3. Several of these were identified with a number located adjacent to Watling Street and close to the sunken feature structure. (1)
