A building visible in woods at the north end of Canterbury Golf Course on 1945 RAF vertical aerial photographs [1]. It is flat-roofed and square in plan and has been interpreted as a possible pillbox. It is not visible on 1942 RAF vertical aerial photographs [2] and seems to have been removed by the 1965 OS aerial survey of the area [3].

The structure is likely to be related to the use of the golf course for training in WWII and lies close to contemporary military training features (MWX43016, MWX43022, MWX43026, MWX43029).

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [4].
