Summary:This is the final fieldwork on the evaluation work carried out at Springhead. The vast majority of archaeological features were of early Romano-British date and concentrated within the Ebbsfleet valley. Some prehistoric and post medieval activity was also recorded. The excavated evidence included a substantial pottery assemblage.
