This structure, consisting of two parallel rows of rounded wooden stakes running from the saltmarsh towards the channel, strongly suggests a jetty. It is thought to be a relatively modern structure, built since 1900.

Probable remains of jetty (1) Two parallel rows of rounded wooden stakes running from saltmarsh in the direction of the channel. The structure is about 30 m long, and 1.3 m wide. The stakes are up to 1 m high, and 0.1m in diameter. Appears to be quite a modern structure. It may be related to the remains of the jetty that lies further south, but gap there is a 50m gap between them. (2)
