Possible Box House, excavated in 2013 in advance ofdevelopment of the northern site of Leigh Gunpowder Mills. From the report:
"The southeastern wall of a building, again part of the later northern development of the works was recorded. This matches the location of the Box Store (Rowley 2009). In common with the smaller buildings of the complex, no floor surface or evidence for what activities were being carried out there was apparent. If a box store, then the building may have had no internal features other than floors and possibly, shelving." (1)
