(TQ 5207 6477) Long. 0 11' 4", Lat. 51 21' 40", just below 300 ft. O.D. Pottery fragments, worked flakes, three quern pieces, etc., were found on the surface of a ditched bank by Greenfield and G.M Meates in 1947. (1)

The siting falls within a bracken-covered area through which passes a lynchet (see TQ 56 SW 15) The potsherds, which were unclassified, together with the other finds, were not preserved, and no further details of the site were recorded. (a) (but see TQ 56 SW 22) (2)
