'TQ 5247 6472) Long. 0 11' 25", Lat. 51 21' 38". Eleven fragments of pottery, one piece of Roman brick and two flint flakes were found by Greenfield and others on a rampart or lynchet. (1) (cf. TQ 56 SW 15) The siting falls upon a modern lynchet. The ground is under corn stubble and a search revealed nothing other than a general scatter of medieval. tile. The potsherds, which were unclassified have not been preserved and no further details were kept concerning this site (a). (1-4)
