(1)

A VR wall box is mounted in the southern wall of the barn. It is a Type C - low aperture (cipher 2 1/8" from top of box). It dates from 1886 to 1901. (2)

A building survey was carried out in 2005. It has been suggested that the southern three bays are later but no evidence was observed to support this. The suggested 16th century date for the barn was concluded to be reasonable. (3) (4)
