As part of the Northfleet Roman villa complex, a large aisled structure was constructed c. 60m west of the main villa, probably in the 3rd century. It was 14m wide and at least 28m long and comprised masonry walls and two lines of internal post holes. (1)

The walls of this structure were flint, measuring 0.60m wide and 0.40m remaining in height (3 courses). Mortar was used for one of the walls and the stone of the other two walls was not bonded but set within sand and gravel.
