Summary:This Combined Design and Access and Heritage Statement has been prepared in support of an application for Listed Building Consent to undertake works to Wellington Dock, within the Port of Dover, as part of the Dover Western Docks Revival (DWDR) Scheme. The aim of this document is to identify and describe the key historic characteristics and importance of Wellington Dock, and to assess the level of impact the proposed works may have on the architectural importance (value) and historic significance of the structure, and its setting.
