Summary

Remains of the former St. Margaret's vicarage were found during archaeological investigations; built in the 18th century it was demolished in the 1950s. Comprised chalk and flint, and brick walls and a brick soakaway.

Remains of the former vicarage to St. Margaret's (TQ 86 NW 16). Built in the 18th century it was modified in the 19th, and demolished in the 1950's. Trenching revealed chalk and flint, and brick walls and a brick soakaway. (1 - 2)

Chalk and flint wall footings and a brick floor surface, in association with a flint cobble yard surface. This may have been an early vicarage to St. Margaret's (TQ 86 NW 16) and a predecessor to TQ 86 NW 196. (1 - 2)

A structure of Kentish rag stone believed to represent a chinmey base or outside oven associated with a timber-framed building, pre-dating the late 15th century, of which nothing now remains.(1- 2)
