A mammoth tusk, in poor condition found in situ in fluvial gravels.(1)
It was in poor condition, but indicates that other robust faunal remains, particularly teeth, are likely to be present in the gravels. Faunal remains may also be present and better preserved at other horizons within the fluvial sequence.
Location accurate to 2m based on available information.
