The possible anti-aircraft coastal battery is centred at TR 0871 2647, and extends across an area measuring approximately 74m south-west to north-east, and 32m north-west to south-east. There is a large rectangular building measuring 16m south-west to north-east, and 6m north-west to south-east. Curvilinear trenches visible as extant earthworks extend from either end, leading to two smaller rectangular structures located forwards of the main building. These were presumably gun emplacements of some sort. Halfway along the northernmost of these trenches; another trench extends at right-angles in each direction. These trenches both lead to small square structures, one of which is located directly in front of the main building, with the other to the north-east. A wide rectilinear trench extends from the rear of the main building, which may have served as an air raid shelter or an ammunition store.

By the time of the vertical aerial photograph of 1946; all the structures had been removed, although the trenches were still visible. An aerial photograph of 1968 appears to show that the entire area has been quarried away, leaving no trace of the trenches (1-3).
