Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 576516. Hythe. (1)

The Second World War pillbox referred to above (Source 1) was not visible on the available aerial photographs viewed as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP at the location provided above. There is perhaps a structure at TR 1382 3290 nearby, which may be a partially buried pillbox, but the resolution on the 1946 aerial photographs is not clear enough to determine this. (2)
