Wreck of unknown date visible in 1945, located in Dover Dockyard. This wreck was orientated WNW-ESE, with the bow facing WNW. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 shows the area to have been reclaimed to extend the Eastern Docks. (location accurate to the nearest 50m based on available information)

Wreck of unknown date visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945 [1], located in Dover Dockyard. This wreck measured 39m x 7.5m at maximum extents and was orientated WNW-ESE, with the bow facing WNW. It lay 80m from the high water mark as recorded on historic OS mapping from 1938 [2]. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [3] shows the area to have been reclaimed to extend the Eastern Docks.

A transcription of the feature recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.

Nothing is shown on the aerial photo of 1946 but a hulk does appear closer to the shoreline to the west.
