The circular bomb crater measures 4m in diameter and was first visible and has been mapped from aerial photographs taken in January 1942 [1]. It is visible on military photographs taken throughout the year and is still visible as a circular ditch on the Channel Coastal Observatory's aerial photography from May 2008 [2].
