Three WWII structures including a pillbox, located around Pegwell Bay, W of Ramsgate and visible on military aerial photographs.

There are two phases of activity - the first phase comprises a single rectangular military building that is first visible and has been mapped from aerial photographs taken in February 1941 [1]. This building is no longer visible by April 1944 [2] however two other structures are visible on this series of photographs, on either side of the site of the original structure. They comprise a pillbox (see Mke39696 for more details) and a square building measuring 9m by 8.6m. These buildings are no longer visible on photographs taken in January 1946 [3].

These defensive features are situated along Cliffs End Road and are most likely associated with other military activity in the area (MWX43184).
