A group of buildings recorded from 1945 RAF vertical aerial photographs lying at the north end of Canterbury Golf Course [1]. It comprises three flat-roofed buildings, rectangular in plan, built on the edge of woodland next to an established track. The buildings are spaced 30m apart and the easternmost two have disruptive pattern roofs.
The buildings do not appear on 1942 RAF vertical aerial photographs [2] and seem to have been removed by 1965 OS aerial survey of the area [3]. They are likely to be related to the use of the golf course for training in WWII and lie close to contemporary military training features (MWX43016, MWX43022, MWX43026, MWX43029).
A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [4].
