The remains of a Park Pale which showed two phases. The first was a ditch 3m wide with a 'U' shaped profile with a 3m wide bank to the south. The second phase consisted of a 'U' shaped ditch profile 8m wide situated immediately to the north of the original ditch, with a large bank c. 10m wide to the south. The side of the phase of the ditch where it joined the bank had been revetted with blocks of chalk. (1)
