A landing Stage was formerly located on the foreshore at the edge of St Mary's Marshes. It is marked on the 2nd and 3rd edition Ordnance Survey maps (c.1891-1922). Not identified during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2002.
