Summary

Site of a post-medieval wharf, partly demolished at Stoke Saltings. The wharf was visible on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey map and was still present during coastal surveys in 2004 and 2005, all be it in poor condition.

Wharf identified on the 2nd ed OS map (1). Seen in 2004, the wharf timbers have been cut down for most of their length, tough the outline of the original wharf structure is still visible. (2). Area fenced off- private property, not clear of ownership so access was not possible during the 2005 coastal survey (3)
