A Wharf and two Jetties are marked on the 2nd and 3rd ed OS map (1-2). The jetties are not present on the fourth edition but the Wharf is still visisble (3) it is likley that the jetties were associated with and used by the cement works which occupied this area throughout much of the 19th and 20th centuries. Whole area has been developed and is in use by Lafarge Bluecircle Cements. Not clear which structures are historic and which have been built over. (4)
