Jetty, near to the 'Ship & Lobster', Denton indicated on the 1st ed OS map (1). The 19th century jetty is demolished. A new concrete and steel jetty/pier has been built directly on its western side. Remains of the old jetty are visible in the form of two parallel rows of timber posts running into the water (about. 5m -6m width, and 20m length). A rubble slipway is visible between the old and the new jetty. (2)
