Summary

Areas of higher ground around Egypt Bay, were identified from aerial photographs taken in 2000. These areas of higher ground were visible on the whole foreshore and are thought to possibly be the remains of peat banks or shell beds. Site not accessible during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeoloy in 2005.
