Summary

Grid pattern in cropmarks and drainage, possibly the remains of a salt making site. Identified from aerial photographs. During a survey of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2005 very flat ridges and furrows were visible in the fields but the origin of these was not identified.
