Summary

Anchorage at the mouth of Yantlett Creek was marked on a chart of 1774. It was no longer visible during a survey of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2005, although elements of the anchorage may survive under the water.

Anchorage in Yanlett Creek, marked on a chart of 1774 AD. (1) No visible remains during the coastal survey of 2005, this can be expected of an anchorage, and some debris or material associated with the anchorage may survive underwater (2)
