Summary

Four to five rows of parallel, rounded wooden stakes have been found on the foreshore at Harty Ferry, Leysdown. The main rows are perpendicular to the foreshore with one or possibly two rows running parallel to the shoreline. This could be the remains of a landing stage.

Several (4-5) rows of parallel rounded wooden stakes running perpendicular to the foreshore. The rows are 10 m long, and overall 8m wide. The stakes are between 0.3m-0.8m high, and 0.06m-0.1m in diameter. There is one, or possibly two rows running parallel to the foreshore connecting the rows. Remains of a wide and short jetty? (1)
