The remains of a stone paved quay by a modern conveyor jetty. The stone paving is made of large rectangular granite in roughly dressed blocks approximately 0.6m x 0.5m. These are held by lines of parallel plank piles stretching into the channel. The remains of the pier are about 25m long and 2-2.5m wide. There is concrete visible at the shoreward end, and lots of debris, concrete rubble, brick etc, much of which is probably not the remains of the quay. (1)
