A grey-brown organic clay exposure extending as a small sea cliff for hundreds of metres along the shore. It has abraded roundwood, probably roots, within it. It also has animal bone embedded in it. (1)

Period amended to Mesolithic ot Neolithic on advice from Francis Wenban-Smith that it was unlikely to be palaeolithic in date.
