Peat exposure on foreshore 0.4m x 0.2m containing patches of brushwood, roundwood, and probably natural. Evidence of wood chips, some woodworking on peat, probably Post-medieval woodworking debris. (1)
Period adjusted to Mesolithic to Neolithic based on advice from Francis Wenban-Smith that a palaeolithic date was unlikely.
