Watching brief undertaken at All Saints Church (TQ 76 SW 25), Snodland between September and October 2001 to monitor renovation works uncovered a grave slab inside the church and a grave slab, some human bone and late medieval/ early post-medieval tile and pottery outside the church.
The grave slab uncovered outside the church was 250mm below the surface orientated east-west, 650mm wide and 80mm thick, the length was restricted by the trench. There were no visible inscriptions or carving on the stone. (1)
