A short stretch of tram tracks are visible in an area now occupied by a car park on Northampton Quay, Dover. The tracks would have originally belonged to part of the Dover Corporation Tramway which ran between Dover Harbour and Dover town centre and beyond to Charlton between 1897 and 1936. (1) The tracks are associated with an area of surviving post medieval street surfacing also located within this carpark.
