Voluntary Aid Detachment hospital St Anslems, St. Clare Road was one of the two houses that provided 100 beds with Sir Charles Sargants, wife Lady Millie Sargant as hospital commandant. It was in use from October 1914 to the end of March 1919 - run by Kent/22 and Kent/142. The building is still used as a Nursing Home.
