This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Allhallows. The report states:" Small clusters of cottages, presumably occupied by farm workers, were scattered across the parish….an extremely modest development of five cottages at Nord Corner to the south ate laikely to have been built in the early 19th century (the latter was subsequently provided with allotments)."
