This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Cooling Parish. This report states: "Child's Farm to the west of the village has a pair of dwellings, Child's Farm Cottages that date to the mid 19th century. Its outbuildings underwent residential conversion in the late 20th century" (1)
