The medieval Tower 10 is situated along the City wall defences to the north of Burgate. The tower is a round tower somewhat similar to Tower 9 and has an open back. It is believed to have been constraucted during the late 15th century, between c. 1472 and 1494 when this section of the wall was largely rebuilt by Prior Selling.
