Quote from farmstead survey: "Cowshed. Main building is C20 but a larger rebuild of the one shown on the 1842 tithe map. It is a 4-day structure open-fronted onto the stockyard to the north west and abutting the barn to the south west. The north east wall is breeze blocks, the monopitch roof carrying corrugated iron is supported on plain timber posts. All this is C20 but the back wall (onto the lane) is Ragstone with brick dressings and has been retained from the presumably early C19 cowshed here"(1)
