From the 1990 farmsteads survey: "Cartshed, including a small stable. Although there was a building here shown on the 1942 tithe map the existing structure looks like a late C19 rebuild and it has certainly been modernised extensively since the 1906 OS map. Flemish bond yello brick; corrugated iron rood, formerly slate. Low building on north west- south east axis facing north east into the rickyard, towards the barn and backing on Roman Road, lying between the front garden of the house and the main farm entrance. The main part, nearest to the entrance, was the cartshed which is no longer open-fronted, now and apparent 5-bay section protected by continuous C20 garage doors, some sliding on rails. Small stable closest to the house, a 2-flap dooer with 2-light window to right. Roof is gable-ended. Roof carried on probably C20 low-pitch A-frame trusses." (1)
