The Old Porters Lodge was a small subsidary building of Perpendicular style about 27 feet long E-W by about 10 feet wide N-S, added to the south side of the Great Norman Court Gate. Built by Prior Thomas Chillenden between 1391 and 1411, it was entered by a pointed Perpendicular doorway in the north wall via the Gate Hall.

The Old Porters Lodge was a small subsidary building of Perpendicular style about 27 feet long E-W by about 10 feet wide N-S, added to the south side of the Great Norman Court Gate. Built by Prior Thomas Chillenden between 1391 and 1411, it was entered by a pointed Perpendicular doorway in the north wall via the Gate Hall. There may have been a southern doorway too.

The Porter's Lodge was removed to the north side of the gate in 1550.
