The building now called 'Baby Dolphins' was originally built as a command post for 540 Coast Regiment Royal Artillery. From here South Foreland, Wanstone, and Fan Bay batteries were commanded. After the war the building was converted into a private dwelling. The building was a flat roofed concrete building with observation area and telephone exchange. It is largely unchanged. (1)
