Second World War temporary placement of an air raid wardens post at the Alma public house, off the High Street, Swanscombe, Kent. This seems to have occupied an outbuilding in 1939, with arrangements being made at the beginning of 1940 for the reclocation of its functions to another site. No other details are known. (1) outbuildings are visible to the rear of the public house on the fourth edition OS map of the area (2) and the 1946 aerila phtographs (3)
