Summary
A garden terrace. It is possible that the upper terrace is an incorporation of an earlier feature and may be derived from the formal garden shown to the rear of the house on the Jacob’s plan of 1760.

A garden terrace. The terraces had three paired sets of steps, one in the centre and another at each end; the central set survive and appear to be in situ. It is possible that the upper terrace is an incorporation of an earlier feature and may be derived from the formal garden shown to the rear of the house on the Jacob’s plan of 1760. (1)
