Chalk pit, limekiln and hop pickers huts built adjacent to Old Park Shaw at the end of the nineteenth century. The limekiln and chalk pit are shown on the 1st edition OS map. The hop pickers huts are shown on the OS second edition map and subsequently on the OS third and fourth edition maps. The buildings were demolished in the middle of the twentieth century - not shown on the 1940s aerial photo.
