Medieval timber-framed house with later alterations. It stood in the middle of the site for the new Bough Beech Reservoir, so was re-erected at the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, Sussex, in 1969. It was the first building at the museum.
Dendrochronology dating of two sets of timbers in storage following deconstruction. Not certain which refers to Little Winkhurst or Winkhurst Farm (TQ 44 NE 14). Date ranges of 1498-1508 and 1540-1550. (1)
