Decoy Farm is mentioned in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for High Halstow Parish as part of its wider Hoo Peninsula studies. The report states that Decoy Farm was built on rising ground to the south of the decoy ponds at Decoy Fleet, possibly with its own decoy pond. It may have replaced a farmstead associated with the decoy pond in the marshes. The farmhouse was lost in the 1960s. (3)
