Type: Regular courtyard
Farmhouse: Farmhouse detached in central position
Position: Loose farmstead cluster
Survivial: Altered - significant loss of original form (more than 50%)

This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Cooling Parish. The report states:
"Eastborough and Broomhey farms sat on the edge of the upland and close to the marshes to the west [should be east] of the village."
"Eastborough Farm lies within the nature reserve. …[Eastborough] is no longer a working farm and its outbuildings are used by the RSPB for storage or left semi-derelict as wildlife habitat". (3)
