From the NMR:
On 14th May 1932 a double line from Stoke Junction was opened to Allhallows on Sea, and the station opened. Passenger traffic ceased on December 4th 1961 and the station closed.
This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Allhallows parish. The report states: "Little evidence of the former railway branch line remains. At the time of closure in 1961 the site at Allhallows on Sea included station buildings, platforms, a goods shed, water tank, rails and a turntable. Since 1975 most of this has been cleared to provide additional plots for the residential caravan estate, Allhallows Park. However, the metal pillar tank has survived in this rather incongruous setting. " The metal water tank is separately recored on the HER. (1)
