A plate stamped SECVNDVS, now in the British Museum, was found on the Palin [Palm?] Bay Estate, Margate. (1) No further information on this plate was obtained during fieldwork. There seems little doubt that the Palm Bay Estate is the place referred to but although a considerable amount of building has taken place in recent years there is no record of any subsequent finds (2).
