A vessel which was uncovered in 1930 in Holly Lane, Cliftonville, is probably medieval although it has been suggested that it is a C2nd Roman cooking pot. (1) This pot was not traced in the local museums and no further information on its exact provenance or circumstances of find was gained. (2)
